My Teaching Philosophy
Teaching has always been a passion for me. I have a love for learning and I would hope that my students would also learn to love learning as much as I do. I believe that each child is a gift from God, placed on this earth with their individual gifts to share with others. As an educator, I am responsible to recognize, develop, and encourage each student to take their gift to the maximum of their abilities and teaching them to always give God the glory for their gifts and success. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to spend 7+ hours a day molding, educating, and inspiring each child to want to learn while still valuing and building upon their individual differences. I want my classroom to be a place where each student feels safe, important, valued, and free to explore, ask, and share their thoughts. By making my classroom a safe, fun, and well-managed place for my students, I would hope that they will enjoy coming to my classroom and learning something new every day. I feel that all children are different and require specific attention and affection for them to flourish. I will strive to be that for each of my students; an educator who loves each child that walks in her door and gives each of them not only an education, but a passion to learn.
